Welcome to the Parish of Enfield/Rathmolyon website.
We are delighted that you have taken time to visit our website and we hope that it will be of help to you.
Our Parish has seen many changes over the past number of years.
From being a largely rural parish, we have developed into a large urban area. The number of homes has more than doubled over the past 10 years and we extend a warm welcome to people who have chosen to come to live among us.
The Parish website has been set up as a means of reaching out to all, not only our parishioners but also our friends and relatives abroad.
We hope that the website will be a means for people to become involved in the life of the parish, both our community and parish groups, and a means of accessing information regarding participation in the various sacraments of the Church.
A prayer at the beginning of each day.
I stand before you today Lord, ready for the challenges that this day will bring.
Help me to keep the spirit of your word alive in my heart and to remember
that you are always with me,at home or at work,
amongst strangers or friends, faced with struggles or joys.
Be with me, Lord and guide me, wherever I may go.
Give me the courage to be open and responsive
to the call of serving all your people. Amen. |
